PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device in which displacement of a position for bonding a liquid crystal panel and a transparent protective plate is reduced.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device which is equipped with a transparent protective plate 1 for protecting a liquid crystal panel 4 on a front face of the liquid crystal panel 4, the method comprising the steps of: sticking a transparent adhesive sheet 2 to the transparent protective plate 1; attaching a spacer 3a to the transparent protective plate 1 along predetermined sides of the transparent adhesive sheet 2; and after the step; bonding the transparent protective plate 1 and the liquid crystal panel 4 through the transparent adhesive sheet 2 while moving a roller 8 for pressing the liquid crystal panel 4 and the spacer 3a to the transparent protective plate side toward the other side facing one side of the transparent adhesive sheet 2, wherein the predetermined sides are two sides which are parallel to the moving direction of the roller 8 of the side of the transparent adhesive sheet 2 and reach the other side from the side. |
