PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of titanium dioxide nanotubes and a photoelectrode for high efficiency dye-sensitized solar cells including the titanium dioxide nanotubes are provided to mass produce hollow rod shaped titanium dioxide nanotubes with wide surfaces and a large dye adsorption amount by using a microwave reactor. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of hollow rod shaped titanium dioxide nanotubes comprises the following steps: mixing titanium precursors with base additives in an alcohol solvent with a molar ratio of 1:5-10 moles; and performing a reaction for the obtained solution from the first step in a high pressure microwave reactor. The base additive is TBAH(tetrabutylammonium hydroxide). The hollow rod shaped titanium dioxide nanotube is comprised of titanium dioxide nanoparticles with an average particle diameter of 20-35 nanometers. The hollow stick has a width of 500-1000 nanometers and a length of 10-20 micrometers. The reaction is performed at 150-250 deg. Celsius for 2-6 hours in the high pressure microwave reactor with an output of 150-500W. |
