PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a lower rail and a door drive unit to be easily mounted on a vehicle body side in assembling a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle slide door device includes: a door 34 which can open/close a door opening 15 formed at a side wall 6 of a vehicle body 2, from outside of the vehicle body 2; a lower rail 38 which is mounted to a lower side of the side wall 6 while extending in a front-rear direction of the vehicle body 2, and which guides the door 34 in a front-rear direction so that the door opening 15 may be opened/closed; and a door drive unit 54 which is inserted into a member constituting a lower part of the side wall 6 and is mounted on the lower part of the side wall 6, and which drives the door 34 so that the door 34 may move in the front-rear direction. Through-holes 46 and 59 are formed in a member forming an inner surface of the vehicle body 2, on a side of a cabin 3, out of the members constituting the lower part of the side wall 6, and the door drive unit 54 can be inserted into the member constituting the side wall 6 from the cabin 3 side through the through-holes 46 and 59. |
