<p>The present invention relates to a composition-setting imaging apparatus which adjusts a photography composition on the basis of a recommended photography composition of a background, which does not include a main object, and a recommended position of the main object. The present invention saves to a saving portion of the imaging apparatus characteristics information of the main object that is predetermined, a plurality of predetermined recommended photography compositions, and a recommended positions of the main object for each of the recommended photography compositions, and suggests the photography composition by recognizing the main object in a preview image, and then overlapping the recommended photography composition that is most similar to the photography composition of the image of the preview, which does not include the main object, and outputting same.</p> |
