PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet stacking device and an image forming apparatus that can prevent deterioration in image quality due to the contacting of sheets with each other while securing proper sheet stackability.SOLUTION: A sheet stacking device 59 includes: an electrifier 592 that is disposed downstream in a sheet ejection direction of a pair of sheet ejection rollers for ejecting sheets and electrifies the sheet before stacked on a stacking tray 500; and a CPU 101 that performs control for electrifying the sheets by applying a correction voltage according to a voltage potential before stacked on the stacking tray 500 to the electrifier 592. Accordingly, deterioration in image quality can be prevented due to the contacting of the sheets with each other while securing proper sheet stackability. |
