PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion-type adhesive composition suitably used for screen printing or the like, which gives a smooth surface during printing, hardly causes foaming or cissing, and is excellent in the clearness of printed edges, drying performance and water resistance.SOLUTION: An emulsion-type adhesive composition includes an emulsion [II] obtained by emulsion polymerization of a monomer mixture [I] containing a (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer. The emulsion-type adhesive composition has a BH20 of 20,000 mPa s or greater and a thixotropy index (Ti) of less than 1.5 (where Ti=BH2/BH20, the BH20 is the viscosity value as measured at a liquid temperature of 25°C and a rotation speed of 20 rpm using a Brookfield viscometer, and the BH2 is the viscosity value as measured at a liquid temperature of 25°C and a rotation speed of 2 rpm using a Brookfield viscometer). |
