PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device that always provides display with good visibility regardless of an environmental temperature without decreasing the service life of a backlight.SOLUTION: A brightness signal generation part 310 reduces the light volume of a light source when an environmental temperature exceeds a predetermined value, and a liquid crystal driving signal generation part 320 adjusts the transmittance of each pixel of an image display unit 230 for each gradation, for reducing a change in display brightness associated with an adjustment of the light volume of the light source.
