PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact ignition operating portion by using a cam as a motion converting mechanism instead of a conventional rack and a pinion, a ball screw, a ball nut and the like, in an actuator for ignition operation using a motor for a driving source.SOLUTION: An actuator for ignition operation includes: a driving portion equipped with a motor, a gear box, and a rotation transmission coupling; a flexible shaft rotation-driven by the driving portion; and an operating portion 4 attached to a tip end portion of the flexible shaft, and pressing a push-type ignition of a vehicle. The operating portion 4 is equipped with a pressing button 5 for pressing the push-type ignition, and a cam 7 as a motion converting mechanism for converting rotations of the flexible shaft into rectilinear movement of the pressing button 5. |
