<p>A method and system provides financial support for treating a child having an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The method and system includes an insurance policy with a premium payment from the insured to the insurer, and a benefit payment from the insurer to the insured only if the child is diagnosed with an ASD during the effective date of the policy. The policy can be purchased during pregnancy or during a limited time after the child's birth. The premium amount depends upon the benefit amount and the term of the policy.</p> |
