<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a ceramic structure that suppresses the occurrence of baking defects of the ceramic structure having a recessed portion. <P>SOLUTION: A laminate 80 is prepared. This laminate 80 is formed, by laminating a plurality of green sheets 20 in a thickness direction. The laminate 80 includes a recessed portion. The recessed portion includes a bottom surface perpendicular to the thickness direction and a side face surrounding the bottom surface. Then a ceramic block 51 is placed on the bottom surface of the recessed portion. The laminate 80 is baked, together with the ceramic block 51.
