<p>The invention relates to a masking device for floor coverings (5, 7, 8), comprising a fastening rail (1) that can be laid along a covering edge to be masked and comprising a masking profiled element (2), which can be connected to the fastening rail (1) at different inclined positions with the aid of fastening screws (3), which engage between two longitudinal legs (10) of the fastening rail (1) and which are distributed over the length of the profiled element.
