PURPOSE: A superconducting wire and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to form a division area by using a wire before forming a thin film layer, thereby reducing an AC loss. CONSTITUTION: A substrate is formed with a tape form. A superconductor thin film(70) is formed on the substrate. The superconductor thin film is divided into a plurality of parts by a division area(75). The division area is extended along a longitudinal axis of the substrate. A protection layer(90) is divided into a plurality of parts by the division area. |
