<p>The invention provides a winding unit (4) capable of performing a satisfactory winding operation by accurately aligning a position of an unwinding side end of a yarn feeding bobbin (21) with respect to a target position regardless of a diameter and/or a shape of the yarn feeding bobbin (21). A winder unit (winding unit) (4) includes a bobbin holding portion (110), a chase portion detection sensor (the yarn feeding bobbin detection unit) (74), a drive portion (200), and a stepping motor controller (102). The bobbin holding portion (110) holds the yarn feeding bobbin (21). The chase portion detection sensor (74) detects an unwinding side end of the yarn feeding bobbin (21) held by the bobbin holding portion (110). The drive portion (200) drives the bobbin holding portion (110) to adjust the position of the unwinding side end of the yarn feeding bobbin (21).
