PURPOSE: The over-voltage control system of AC system which linked to HVDC system is provided to simply form the composition by controlling the over-voltage only with a lightning arrester apparatus. CONSTITUTION: The first lightning arrester apparatus connects the line terminal to the bus bar. The second lightning arrester apparatus connects the line socket (2) to the ground terminal (1'). The third lightning arrester apparatus connects the ground terminal (3') to the ground wire. The first switching element is connected between the ground terminal (1') and the ground wire.
