STEREO MICROSCOPE

Disclosed is a stereo microscope not only controlling the stereoscopic effect of a stereo image, but also accurately focusing even if the stereoscopic effect of a stereo image is controlled. The stereo microscope includes: a pair of zoom units being placed at the upper side of a focusing lens and being mutually separated at a controllable distance for controlling the stereoscopic effect of a stereo image; a pair of first prisms being respectively placed at the upper sides of the zoom units and adjusted with the respective zoom units; a pair of second prisms receiving a beam from the first prism, refracting the beam, and then converting the direction of the beam; and a third prism maintaining beam paths by compensating the changed distance of the beam paths between the first prisms and the second prisms after a separate distance between the same and the pair of the second prisms controlled as much as the changed distance of the beam path when the respective first prisms linked with the respective zoom units are moved while receiving the beam from the second prisms, refracting the beam, and then converting the direction of the beam.
