A storing and mixing device comprising a first chamber 2 to store a first substance and a second chamber 4 to store a second substance, which is removeably attachable to the first chamber 2. The first chamber has a first opening 18 (figure 3) which is sealable by a lid 20, and a second opening 26 which is sealed by a plugging device 24. The lid 20 has actuation means, which may be a deformable membrane 32 (which may by guided and supported by lid projections 40, 42), which a user can move from a storing position to a mixing position, in which the plugging device 24 is engaged to open the second opening 26. Additionally there are means for releaseably securing the plugging means 26 to the actuation means. The actuation means may remain in the mixing position after actuation, and when the actuation means is a deformable membrane 32 at least a portion of it moves from a stable, convex configuration to a stable concave configuration. The projections from the lid 40, 42 may be ring shaped, and the securing means 34 may comprise a clipping means. Also shown are 2nd chamber detachable modules 8, 10, 12, screw connection means 6, 14, 16, 22 between the modules and also between the 1st chamber and the lid and the body 38 and base 36 portions of the plugging means. |
