Disclosed are a marine nuclear power plant and a construction method thereof. The marine nuclear power plant of the present invention includes facilities including a nuclear reactor building; a barge in which the facilities are mounted; and a gravity based structure (GBS) plant in which the barge is installed. The GBS plant is installed on the bottom of the ocean by moving to the ocean and the upper side is exposed above a sea level.
