A leveling system for a ship block and a control method thereof are disclosed. The leveling system for the ship block and the control method thereof according to an embodiment of the present invention improves the turnover of a block manufacturing lathe, enables an unskilled person to conveniently perform the leveling work of the ship block, and improves convenience by automating the leveling work of the ship block and the monitoring work.
