PURPOSE: A service system using insertion and detection of additional information in digital content is provided to insert the additional information into the digital content in an invisible form, thereby enabling a user to check the digital content. CONSTITUTION: An index information insertion unit(113) inserts index information into digital content. When the index information is transmitted from a user terminal(106), an additional information search unit(115) extracts additional information from a database(111). A monitoring unit(117) monitors at least one of obtainment frequency, obtainment time, and obtainment location of the digital content through the index information transmitted from the user terminal by using the location information of the user terminal.
