摘要 There is provided a lithium ion secondary cell equipped with a positive electrode, a negative electrode, an electrolytic solution, and a separator, wherein: the negative electrode includes a negative electrode binder composition having a particulate polymer (A) that includes an aliphatic conjugated diene monomeric unit, and a negative electrode active material layer formed from a negative electrode slurry composition including negative electrode active material, the degree of swelling of the negative electrode binder composition being one to two times with respect to the electrolytic solution in which an electrolyte is dissolved in a solvent having a solubility parameter of 8 to 13 (cal/cm3) 1/2, and the cyclic tensile strength of the negative electrode binder composition that has swelled due to the electrolytic solution being 0.5 to 20 kg/cm2 at a low elongation modulus of 15%; and the positive electrode includes a positive electrode binder composition having a particulate polymer (B) that includes an ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid monomeric unit, and a positive electrode active material layer formed from a positive electrode slurry composition including a positive electrode active material, the degree of swelling of the positive electrode binder composition being one to five times with respect to the electrolytic solution in which an electrolyte is dissolved in a solvent having a solubility parameter of 8 to 13 (cal/cm3)1/2, and the cyclic tensile strength of the positive electrode binder composition that has swelled due to the electrolytic solution being 0.2 to 5 kg/cm2 at a low elongation modulus of 15%.
