Provided is a folding hanger for hanging clothing, etc., having a simple structure in which there is no need for installing a special fastener, spring, etc., and whereby the hanger can easily be unfolded and folded. The hanger is configured from a hook and a pair of arms having a shared rotation axis. The material of the arms and hook is plastic, wood, metal, etc. When plastic, wood, metal, etc. is used, each arm is configured from two parallel plates and a middle plate connecting the parallel plates, and a difference in width is provided between the two parallel plates of each arm. The angle between an edge line and a center line of the arms is set to 50 degrees to 80 degrees. Distal end parts of the arms are configured to fit within round edge regions. A hook stopper is provided to the distal end parts of the arms. When the material is metal, weight can be reduced by configuring the arms and hook from wire according to one embodiment. In this case, edges are configured by deforming the wire. |
