PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound generation device that can determine whether sound is generated outside a vehicle according to a road width of a road where the vehicle travels.SOLUTION: A sound generation device includes: a road width detection part 11 that detects a road width of a road where an own vehicle 2 travels; a determination part 12 that determines whether sound should be output outside the vehicle according to the road width detected by the road width detection part 11; and a travel sound output part 13 that outputs sound outside the vehicle according to a determination result of the determination part 12. |
