PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus that, when abnormality occurs in certain processing means, can quickly perform necessary alternative processing by other processing means, and to provide an information processing method.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes a plurality of processing means for executing software and abnormality determination means of determining whether or not abnormality occurs in the plurality of processing means. When it is determined that abnormality has occurred in any processing means by the abnormality determination means, processing means, not determined that abnormality has occurred by the abnormality determination means, performs alternative processing of software with a priority set equal to or more than a criterion, among software that the processing means, determined that the abnormality has occurred, executed. |
