PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll storage box preventing a long article from being damaged, and to provide a storage box with a roll therein.SOLUTION: A roll storage box comprises: a body part 10 storing a roll around which a long article is wound; and a lid part covering an opening surface of the body part 10. In a front plate 12 of the body part 10, a locking means 50 locking the long article is formed in a covered region W covered when the lid part is closed. The covered region W is divided into major regions M having three regions M1, M2, M3 and a central region C. The locking means 50 is constituted so that an area of a portion of the first region M1 surrounded by an outer edge including a gap 51g is larger than the area of each of the second region M2 and the third region M3 and the maximum height of the locking means 50 in the first region M1 is equal to or more than 1/2 of the maximum height of the first region M1 itself. Accordingly, when peeling the long article from the locking means 50 upon drawing the long article by picking up a width central part, locking force in edge parts where tension of a longitudinal direction component becomes large becomes relatively small. Accordingly, the long article is prevented from being damaged. |
