PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel capable of improving sealing performance by preventing the entire abutting of a seal lip to improve contact surface pressure of a lip part.SOLUTION: A bearing device for a wheel includes an annular seal plate 14 and a slinger 15. The seal plate 14 comprises a core metal 16 pressed into an outer member 10, and a sealing member 17 joined to the core metal 16 by cure adhesion. The slinger 15 includes a cylindrical part 15a pressed into the outer periphery of an inner ring 3, and an upright plate part 15b extending outward in a radial direction from the cylindrical part 15a. The sealing member 7 includes a side lip 17a brought into slide contact with the upright plate part 16b of the slinger 15 via a predetermined axial interference, and radial lips 17b and 17c brought into slide contact with the cylindrical part 15a via a predetermined radial direction interference. The outer side fade 19 of the upright plate part 15b is formed on the outer side to gradually incline from the end of the cylindrical part 15a outward in the radial direction, and this inclination angle is set equal to or higher than 86.5° to less than 90°. |
