PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamed block for a lost foam pattern casting method having a high internal melt-welding property, a high surface hardness, a low continuous bubble ratio, and a low generation rate of honeycomb patterns on a cut surface.SOLUTION: A foamed block for a lost foam pattern casting method is characterized in that the foamed block for a lost foam pattern casting method contains styrene-based resign of 1,000,000 to 2,400,000 in z+1 average molecular weight. In the foamed block, an average bubble diameter is within a range from 35 to 170 μm, an outermost surface film thickness is 0.5 to 2.3 μm, and a continuous bubble ratio is 10% or less. |
