The device has a supplying unit (1) supplying of conductors or small cables along a feeding direction (P1). A stripping station (4) strips line- or cable ends, and crimping stations (3, 7) attaches crimping contacts to stripped line- or cable ends. A gripping unit (5) holds the cables or conductors, and another gripping unit (6) receives one of the cables and/or conductors. The latter gripping unit is rotated around a longitudinal axis of conductors or cables about a predetermined angle, where the rotated conductors or cables are reversibly held in the former gripping unit.
