<p>A machine for processing wood components (2) or the like is provided with a base (3) extending in a first direction (4), crosspieces (11) fitted on the base (3) parallel to a second direction (9) transverse to the first direction (4), at least one locking device (12) fitted on each crosspiece (11) so as to lock at least one component (2), and a detecting device (21) for detecting the position of each locking device (12) along the relative crosspiece (11); the detecting device (21) having a plurality of magnetic field detectors (24) fitted in sequence along an elongated support element (22) fitted to the crosspiece (11) and a permanent magnet (25) fitted to each locking device (12) in such a position to generate a magnetic field interacting with the magnetic field detectors (24).</p> |
