The present invention provides a method and a device for diagnosing a performance bottleneck. The method comprises: dividing a transaction measured by a TPC-C performance test into a plurality of minimum links; when a TPC-C value obtained by the TPC-C performance test reaches a predetermined performance reference value, obtaining first time consumed by each minimum link of the transaction; when the TPC-C value obtained by the TPC-C performance test reaches a predetermined performance bottleneck value, obtaining second time consumed by each minimum link of the transaction; comparing the first time and the second time of each minimum link respectively, determining a minimum link with the second time greater than the first time as a bottleneck link, and determining a root cause corresponding to the bottleneck link according to a preset expert library, the expert library being used for storing a corresponding relation between phenomena and root causes corresponding to the bottleneck link. The embodiment of the invention can improve a diagnostic effect during the TPC-C performance test. |
