摘要 The bypass switch has: a pair of stator conductors (2, 3) connected in parallel to a cell; and a moving conductor disposed in the vertical direction of the pair of stator conductors (2, 3). The bypass switch further has a thermally actuated device (7). In the thermally actuated device (7), a single diode (9) for emitting heat through passage of current therethrough, a metal plate (10), and solder (11) are stacked, and are sandwiched by a first heat insulating spacer (8) and a second heat insulating spacer (12). During a malfunction of the cell, current flows to the diode (9), which emits heat, the heat becoming transferred to the solder (11) by the metal plate (10), causing the solder (11) to melt. As a result of melting of the solder (11), the thermally actuated device (7) is displaced, and due to displacement of the thermally actuated device (7), the moving conductor is displaced in the vertical direction of the pair of stator conductors (2, 3) and inserts between the pair of stator conductors (2, 3), electrically connecting the pair of stator conductors (2, 3), and forming a bypass circuit for shorting the cell in which the malfunction has occurred.
