PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for treating contaminants in which the efficiency of decontamination work can be improved.SOLUTION: A device for treating contaminants includes an electrolysis water producing device 11 that produces alkali electrolysis water and acid electrolysis water, a decontamination device 13 that performs the decontamination of a decontamination object with the alkali electrolysis water or acid electrolysis water produced by the electrolysis water producing device 11 used as a cleaning fluid, and a neutralization treatment device 16 that performs neutralization treatment by mixing the used alkali electrolysis water generated by the decontamination treatment with unused acid electrolysis water. |
