PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additive for paper that can achieve both improving a good paper volume and suppressing a deterioration in tensile strength of paper.SOLUTION: An additive for paper contains a polyoxypropylene polyamine (A) represented by formula (1), and an amide-amine compound (B) obtained by condensation between an amine represented by formula (2) and a 12-24C aliphatic monocarboxylic acid. The mass ratio (A/B) of the polyoxypropylene polyamine (A) to the amide-amine compound (B) is 1/99 to 30/70. The total amine value is 100 to 200 mgKOH/g. |
