PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DPF regeneration processing method and an exhaust gas purification system capable of precisely determining the completion time of DPF regeneration processing to reduce fuel costs.SOLUTION: A carbon amount discharged from a DPF during DPF regeneration processing is integrated, and a carbon amount generated by PM combustion is calculated by subtracting a carbon amount included in fuel input during the regeneration processing from the integrated value. When the calculated carbon amount becomes equal to or more than an initial PM deposition amount, the DPF regeneration processing is completed.
