PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for heating a rotor disk in a turbomachine.SOLUTION: A system includes a turbomachine. The turbomachine includes at least one rotor disk. The system also includes a rotor disk heating system configured to resistively heat at least a part of the at least one rotor disk via an electrical current or voltage applied to the part of the at least one rotor disk. The rotor disk heating system may include a resistive network, wherein the resistive network includes a multilayered heating material, and may include a rotary machine that is configured to resistively heat at least a part of the rotor disk via the electrical current or voltage.
