PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remodeled sash which allows a new sash to be mounted inside an opening of an existing frame from the indoor side and prevents rainwater from entering between the existing frame and the new sash from the opening of the existing frame by installing a sealant.SOLUTION: A groove-shaped seal joint 6a is formed between an outdoor side part 20a of an existing upper frame 20 and an upper cover material 6, and a sealant 6b is installed in the seal joint 6a from the opening of the existing frame 2. A groove-shaped seal joint 8a is formed between the inside surface of an existing jamb 22 located closer to the outdoor side and a vertical cover material 8, and a sealant 8b is installed in the seal joint 8a from the opening of the existing frame 2. A new sash is installed inside the opening of the existing frame 2 from the indoor side. In such a way, a remodeled sash is obtained which prevents rainwater from entering between the existing frame 2 and the new sash. |
