<p>A high pressure abrasive slurry pump is a pump unit used in conjunction with a vapour blast cabinet to carry out the process of surface preparation and/or cleaning works for industrial processes. The pumps purpose is to deliver a water and abrasive mixture to a blast gun, where compressed air is also introduced to produce a high powered vapour/abrasive media jet tocarry out the processes. The pump combines a high rpm polyurethane impellor inside a rigid three sealing point, non-leak polyurethane pump body. When in operation the abrasive slurry passes through a polyurethane lined stainless steel agitator which agitates the media in the cabinet sump and is drawn up through the filter into the pump body and forced through the delivery hose, which is screwed into the agitator, to the blast gun. The combined stainless steel and polyurethane construction enables high abrasion resistance and non rusting components in the water.</p> |
