The clamp (1) has an end part (2) connected with another end part (4) by a bending arm (5). The bending arm is preformed in such a manner that the bending arm runs in a premounting position against bending motion (6) to reach an end mounting position in a bent manner. The bending arm is pre-bent in such a manner that the arm runs in the end mounting position after bending in a straight and elongated manner. The former end part of the clamp with a partial region (8) lies at a side surface (9) of a roof batten (3). The clamp is made of stainless steel wire.
