[Class 69 (iii)] [Also in Group XVII] A combined powder blower and liquid sprayer, e.g. for dispensing insecticides, comprises a pump 5 secured to two containers 1, 2, or to a single container with two compartments, for liquid and powder respectively and operatively connected with them through an individually operable two-way cock, whereby powder or liquid can be dispensed as desired. The cock 7, which is mounted on the barrel of the pump, is connected to tubes 8, 10 extending respectively into the powder container 1, for expelling powder through a nozzle 9, and to a point adjacent the end of a tube 11 in the container 2. The pump may be connected to the upper ends of the containers 1, 2 as shown, or may be secured to a member carrying the tubes 8, 9, 10, 11 and screw-threaded depending sockets to which the containers are attached.</p> |
