<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a shock absorber from causing circumferential pollution even if oil leakage from a shock absorber body arises owing to failure or the like of a sealing member and to prevent shortage of working fluid in the shock absorber body. <P>SOLUTION: In the shock absorber with an air spring which has the shock absorber body SA which has a cylinder body 1 and a rod body 2 and conducts damping action and an air chamber AC which defines an air chamber A outside the shock absorber body SA and produces an air spring force when the air chamber A is compressed and decompressed with the cylinder body 1 composed of an inner tube 11 and an outer tube 12 and the air chamber AC composed of a shell 21, a diaphragm 23 and a piston pipe 22, the clearance A1 defined between the piston pipe 22 and the outer tube 12 is brought into fluid communication with a reservoir R defined between the inner tube 11 and the outer tube 12 via a communication hole 12a perforated in the outer tube 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&amp;INPIT</p> |
