PURPOSE: A method for screening an antibacterial enhancer using phnF protein is provided to obtain a material which recover antibacterial ability of an existing antibacterial agent. CONSTITUTION: A method for screening an antibacterial enhancer comprises: a step of contacting a sample with cells containing phnF protein of sequence number 1 or a protein in which a gene of sequence number 3 is expressed; a step of measuring protein level or activation; and a step of determining the sample is a material which enhances antibacterial ability when the protein level or activation is downregulated.
