<p>A sealing apparatus 1 for sealing a fluid joint 3, in particular a Banjo union comprises a gasket arrangement 5, 6, 7 comprising at least one gasket 5, 7 and a retention element 8, 10 for arranging the gasket arrangement 5, 6, 7 in a predetermined position relative to the fluid joint 3. The gasket arrangement 5, 6, 7 can in particularly comprise a plurality of gaskets 5, 7, in particular two gaskets, which are spaced from each other. The two gaskets 5, 7 may be connected in a C-shaped arrangement. The retention element 8, 10 may be a clip or a clamp such as a Terry clip attached to a fluid line 2 and may further include a fixation means such as a barb 11 to prevent detachment.
