PURPOSE: A detecting method for gas pressure reduction using a differential pressure sensor is provided to improve reliability by the combustion control of a gas boiler through frequent sensing. CONSTITUTION: A detecting method for gas pressure reduction using a differential pressure sensor comprises: a step of calculating and storing the differential pressure between a current gas pressure detected by a differential pressure sensor and a pneumatic pressure, when a burner operates(S3); a step of increasing the number of rotation of a ventilation fan by increasing(XHz) the frequency of a driving voltage supplied to the ventilation fan as much as a predetermined frequency for a predetermined time(+1), returning back to the original state, and detecting the differential pressure at this moment(S4); a step of determining whether or not a result value of the stored differential pressure minus the differential pressure, at the time when increasing(XHz) the frequency of the ventilation fan as much as the predetermined frequency for the predetermined time(t1), is below a predetermined value(+/-A)(S5); and a step of normally operating a boiler if the value is higher than the predetermined value(S6).
