PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing assistance device of a cover body for a ditch, which can be easily post-fitted to an existing cover body and is free in attachment and detachment, and of which assistant force can be easily adjusted.SOLUTION: An opening/closing assistance device 1 of a cover body for a ditch includes a mounting fitting 2 fixed to an inside surface of an opening, a support fitting 3 detachably supported on the mounting fitting 2, and an energizing fitting 7 supported on the support fitting 3. The opening/closing assistance device 1 is configured according to necessity by mounting the support fitting 3 to the mounting fitting 2 fixed to a side wall W. When opening a grating G1, an operating force is reduced since the energizing fitting 7 pushes up the grating G1. In the opening operation, the operation is smoothly carried out because a roller 10 rolls on the undersurface of the grating G1. Assistance force of the energizing fitting 7 is changed by selecting a pin receiving hole 5b to which a locking pin 5a is mounted. The support fitting 3 is freely inserted into and remove from a pocket part 2a so that it can be suitably attached and detached according to necessity. |
