PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the diaphragm operation also when an accessory incorporating an electromagnetic diaphragm is attached to a camera body having a non-corresponding electromagnetic diaphragm.SOLUTION: An exchangeable lens 1 is an accessory which includes: a release connection terminal 13 for outputting release signals, such as S1 signals and S2 signals to a camera body 2; an electromagnetic diaphragm mechanism 11 which electrically adjusts a diaphragm opening when such release signals are received; a mount part 18 by which the camera body corresponding to the electromagnetic diaphragm mechanism 11 and the camera body 2 not corresponding to the electromagnetic diaphragm mechanism 11 can be detachably attached to each other; and a camera connection terminal 14 which transmits release signals received from the release connection terminal 13 to the camera body 2 mounted on the mount part 18 via a relay cable 4. |
