PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of cutting spews and a cutting device, capable of cutting spews from roots surely and efficiently.SOLUTION: One face in a thickness direction of a rotating plate 12A is located close to a surface 402 of a tire 4, and on a movement locus T in which locking parts 24A are moved by rotation of the rotating plate 12A, a blade part 1602 is arranged between the one face and the surface 402 of the tire 4. At least one of the surface 402 of the tire 4 and a frame 18A is moved in a direction in which the spews 2 approach a portion of the blade part 1602 intersecting with the movement locus T, and the rotating plate 12A is rotated by a rotating plate rotating means 14 in a direction in which the locking parts 24A approach the portion of the blade part 1602. While stopping falling-down of the spews 2 in a direction of separating from the blade part 1602 by the locking parts 24A, roots of the spews 2 are cut by the blade part 1602. |
