A COMPOSITION FOR TREATING RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS AND OSTEOARTHRITIS

PURPOSE: A composition for prevention and treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis is provided to suppress pain and inflammation of common symptoms in acute and chronic arthritis, and to improve exercise barrier which is a symptom of the chronic arthritis. CONSTITUTION: A composition for prevention and treatment of rheumatoid arthritis comprises an active ingredient mixed with: 350-450 wt% of Kalopanacis Cortex; 350-450 wt% of Chinese quince; 50-150 wt% of first extract which is extracted from Pulvis Aconiti Tuberis Purificatum; 150-250 wt% of Raphani Semen; and 50-150 wt% of second extract which is extracted from Atractylodis Rhizoma. The extract shows an effect which does not have chytotoxin to synoviocyte and chondrocyte. The extract shows effects of improving exercise barrier, and arthritic and analgesia. The extraction solvent for the first extract is 40-60 wt% of alcohol, and the extraction solvent for the second extract is water. [Reference numerals] (AA) Alleviating pain effect
