摘要 PURPOSE: An anode active material is provided to improve the structural stability and performance in high temperature storage, thereby manufacturing a lithium secondary battery having the excellent cyclic and C-rate characteristics. CONSTITUTION: An anode active material comprises a lithium nickel manganese complex oxide in which a part of the manganese is substituted with another metal. The lithium nickel manganese complex oxide, in which a part of the manganese is substituted with another metal, is represented by the chemical formula 1: Li1+b Ni0.5-a Mn1.5+a-dMdO4-c. M is a trivalent metal or a transition metal. -0.1<=a<=0.4, -0.1<=b<=0.1, -0.1<=c<=0.1, and 0<d<=0.1. The oxidation number of the manganese is +3.5 to +4.
