PURPOSE: A handrail for an apartment house, capable of including a descending life line is provided to rapidly promote safe evacuation at a minimized fear because an evacuee can board on the descending life line and move to a household in the downstairs along with a handrail. CONSTITUTION: A handrail for an apartment house, capable of including a descending life line comprises a handrail (100), a handrail installing bar (200), and a descending lever (300). The handrail has rollers (110) on both sides, and a board evacuation space (120) and a descending life line (130) on the front. The handrail installing bar guides to ascend or descend from a wall (12) where a balcony (10) is positioned by connecting the rollers on the handrail. The handrail installing bar has a ring (210) which can be connected and fixed to a hook (134) on the descending life line. The descending lever is installed in the side of the board evacuation space on the handrail. The descending lever makes a holding plate (310) protrude from the back side of the board evacuation space in order to hold or clear the handrail on the front part of the balcony. |
