PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration capable of setting the size of a case covering a transmitter/receiver as small as possible while setting the swing range of the transmitter/receiver as large as possible.SOLUTION: An underwater detection device 10 includes an input shaft 17, an output shaft 18, a transmitter/receiver 11, a universal joint 19, an input side contact member 31, and an output side contact member 32. The transmitter/receiver 11 is attached to the output shaft 18. The universal joint 19 connects the ends of the input shaft 17 and the output shaft 18 with each other to swing. The input side contact member 31 is fixed with respect to the axis of the input shaft 17. The output side contact member 32 is fixed with respect to the axis of the output shaft 18. The output side contact member 32 has a contact part located closer to the radial outside than the outer diameter of the output shaft 18. The input side contact member 31 has a contact surface 33. When an angle formed between the input shaft 17 and the output shaft 18 is equal to or less than a predetermined contact angle, the contact part comes into contact with the contact surface 33. |
