PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the vibration when a ball is driven by gradually increasing the thickness of a face section in the direction of the face surface from the face top side toward a connection section in the region from the thickness middle point of the center of a yoke section to a point apart to the face top side by the prescribed distance. SOLUTION: This tennis racket 1 is provided with a circular face section 2, a nearly V-shaped shaft section connected to the face section at two positions, and a grip section 4 connected to the shaft section 3. The thickness of the face section 2 in the direction of the face surface is gradually increased from the face top side toward a connection section in the region from the thickness middle point of the center of a yoke section to a point apart to the face top side by the distance L1 =50-200mm in the racket axial direction.
